FLUTE GODFROY


A FIVE KEYED FLUTE by GODFROY AINE in PARIS. c. 1830.

Four rosewood joints stamped: "Clair / Godfroy Ainé / ŕ Paris", peacock above, CG below.
Five silver keys.
"Habitual" crack at the botom of the head joint, the third ant the food joint, on the lined mortise.
Original rosewood veneered case.
Sounding length:54,2cm.
Total length: 62,4cm.
